Moreland City Council invites you to explore the international movement of compassion, promoting communities to commit, support and live in a diverse, healthy, accessible and connected neighbourhood. Building a community that cares for each other makes us happier, healthier and live longer.
Marilyn Turkovich, Director at Charter for Compassion International, Dr Lynne Reeder, Adjunct Research Fellow in the Faculty of Health at Federation University Australia, Terry Ayling- National Facilitator, Australian Compassionate Cities program and Leslee Udwin, founder of Think Equal, lead the way encouraging whole communities to support the global Compassionate Cities movement.
Marilyn, Lynne, Terry and Leslee will share their perspectives on how Compassionate Cites has been embraced by cities and communities around the world.
