Description
This three and a half (4) hour program provides Nurses and Carers with best practice and skills in clean intermittent catheterisation for adults. The program attracts 4 CPD hours. The latest evidence based practice will be applied and competency reviewed . Trade display and morning tea are included. Competency in Aspeptic technique is a prerequisite to participation in this Workshop.*Note: In the absence of workplace guidelines we recommend as part of this competency that nurses have at least two supervised intermittent catheterisation insertions with an experienced clinician. Carers are advised to have training with a qualified nurse for clients who have complex catheterisation, as per NDIS and workplace guidelines.Please refer to ANZUNS for guidelines to Intermittent Catheterisation
